Job Description

Blink Charging is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of the company in Europe. This position will be a key player in the sustainable development of our activities in the short, medium and long term. In this function you’ll be working from A to Z, bringing in new business and doing the complete follow up.

Responsabilities

  • Define and ensure the proper realization of commercial objectives, by analyzing potential customers and bringing in new customers and contracts.
  • Actively involved in commercial negotiations, customer targeting and customer retention.
  • Work towards being a trusted advisor for existing clients and new prospects by building strong relationships and by advising the most appropriate solutions based on their challenges, needs and expectations.
  • Be an ambassador of Blink Charging and inform customers and prospects about the novelties and trends of the market.
  • Lead, manage and coordinate the sales and business development efforts in the different EU countries in which Blink Charging is operating, helping cross-border customers.
  • Help the company transition to a centralized organization.
  • Provide a strategic perspective to both (potential) clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in an economic field.
  • 3-5 years experience in (strategic) sales/business development, ideally in the field of EV or similar industry.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, any other language is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong in building an internal & external network.
  • Recognize obstacles and have a solutions-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to set priorities and to successfully progress deals along the sales pipeline.
  • Being able to work in a highly competitive market.
  • Experience with negotiations, any experience with contractual terms & conditions and risk management is a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience in a scale up organization is an asset.
