Ikea in Fishers to provide electric vehicle charging stations

Ikea is getting charged up for its Fishers opening. The Swedish furniture giant has already announced plans to install 3,888 solar panels on its roof to heat and cool the store at the 116th Street exit of I-69. Now, it says customers can power their electric cars while browsing the aisles of the store when it opens this fall. Ikea announced it would provide 3 Blink electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the 1,000 space parking lot.
