It’s Official! SemaConnect is Now Blink Charging.
Over the weekend we completed the integration and have merged your accounts.
Your former SemaConnect account has been merged into your existing Blink Charging account. To view the merged accounts, simply log into the Blink Charging Mobile app. If you run into any trouble, use your email to reset your password. Once logged in, you will see any prepaid funds from SemaConnect merged into your Blink Charging balance. It may take 2 days for all balances to reflect in the Blink app. If you have questions, you can always contact Customer Support for assistance.
The Blink Charging mobile app will allow you to find and charge on both Blink and SemaConnect branded hardware.

Once logged in, you can use the mobile app to find chargers near you, start a charge, view charge history, add funds to your account and even search for nearby amenities while you are charging!
The Blink Charging mobile app will allow you to find and charge on both Blink and SemaConnect branded hardware.

Charging tonight? It’s On Us!
The SemaConnect Mobile app, RFID cards, Virtual Network Pass, and Plugshare charging will be unavailable beginning at 9pm PT tonight so that we can transition SemaConnect hardware to the Blink Network.
To thank you for your patience, this weekend, all chargers will remain operable as plug and charge allowing you to still be able to charge using SemaConnect hardware starting tonight at 9pm PT until Saturday, June 24th at 9pm PT.
We will notify you when the transition is complete and the Blink Charging mobile app is available for use.
When the app returns, you will now be able to find, view details, and use the Blink Charging mobile app to use former SemaConnect chargers!

Mark Your Calendar and Plan Ahead
SemaConnect Chargers are Moving to the Blink Network!
Beginning Friday, June 23 at 9:00 pm PT SemaConnect will be transitioning to the cloud-based Blink Network and some services may not be available such as the SemaConnect mobile app, and the SemaConnect Network.
As we prepare to bring our chargers onto the Blink Network, providing reliable and convenient charging services, many of our normal operations will be unavailable for a short period. This means users are unable to access SemaConnect chargers using the SemaConnect member card, the SemaConnect mobile app, a Virtual Network Pass, or Plugshare.
However, during the transition period, all chargers will remain operable as plug and charge allowing drivers to use SemaConnect hardware for free. All SemaConnect chargers will be online as a part of the Blink Network no later than 6:00 am PT, Monday, June 26.
When normal operations resume, you will be able to find, view details, and use the Blink Charging mobile app to use former SemaConnect chargers!
Important SemaConnect Driver Information
Transition of Memberships
SemaConnect EV drivers are merging onto the Blink network therefore your existing SemaConnect membership will be transitioned to Blink during the June 23rd transition period. Account details will be emailed to you directly. Important Note: If you have both an existing Blink Charging and SemaConnect member account, be sure to update the account emails to match so that we can merge into one account. Using SemaConnect Hardware Post-Transition
Following this June 23rd maintenance, all SemaConnect hardware will operate on the Blink Network. Drivers will be able to use SemaConnect hardware using the Blink Charging mobile app, Blink or SemaConnect RFID membership cards, by using an RFID credit card* or by calling Customer Support at (800) 663-5633. Virtual Network Pass and Plugshare will no longer be supported to start a charge.

Next Week is the SemaConnect Transition!
Your SemaConnect Account Will Transition to Blink Charging
During the upcoming scheduled maintenance window, your SemaConnect account will move to Blink Charging.
After this move, both Blink and SemaConnect hardware will operate on the Blink Network. This means you will use the Blink Charging mobile application to find a charger, start a charge, view your charging history, add funds, and manage your account.
Although there is nothing for you to do at this time, below are a few things to know during th transition.
Transition Details
Scheduled Maintenance Window
Beginning Friday, June 23, 2023, at 9 pm PT, SemaConnect hardware will go offline to begin the move to the Blink Network. Charging will be available on SemaConnect hardware utilizing plug-and-charge.
Charging During Maintenance Window
At this time, the SemaConnect mobile application will become disabled and will no longer work. You can delete this application from your mobile device. Also, starting a charge via Plugshare will be deactivated during this time. To charge your vehicle, simply plug it in and the charge session will begin.
Return to Normal Operations
By Saturday, June 24th at 9 pm PT, SemaConnect hardware will be connected to the Blink Network and resume normal operations and charge sessions will begin via the Blink Charging mobile application, Blink or SemaConnect RFID member cards.
Charging on the Blink Network
To use the SemaConnect hardware, and existing Blink Charging hardware, you can start a charge via the Blink Charging mobile application with a Blink RFID card or by calling Blink Customer Support at (888) 998-2546. Please note that starting a charge using Plugshare will no longer be available.
Your existing SemaConnect RFID cards will continue to start a charge from your account following the transition. In addition, SemaConnect RFID cards will also be able to start a charge at Blink chargers.
Log Into the Blink Mobile App
Following the scheduled maintenance window, download the Blink Charging Mobile application, simply reset your password using the email address you had with your former SemaConnect account. Starting on June 23rd, the SemaConnect website will no longer be available. However, you can easily access all your account information through the Blink Charging mobile app.
Account Balances
Your account balance will automatically transition to your new Blink account.
Payment Information
Your current payment method will transition over to your new Blink account.
Charging History
Your SemaConnect charging history from Jan 1, 2022 to the transition date will automatically be reflected once you log into the Blink Charging mobile app.
Favorite Chargers
Your current favorite charger locations will be reflected in your new Blink account and will be found in the Blink Charging mobile app.
Private Access Memberships
If you have private access memberships affiliated with your SemaConnect account, your private access memberships will transition to Blink automatically. You will have access to these chargers from the Blink Charging mobile app.
Charger Hardware Branding
Even if the SemaConnect chargers near you do not have the Blink logo, they will still be connected to the Blink Network and accessible through the mobile app and your new Blink account.
Already a Blink Member?
SemaConnect and Blink Charging accounts with the same email will automatically be merged. This way, you can access all your payment, balance, history, favorite char, and account information in one place.
If your current SemaConnect and Blink accounts do not use the same email address, please update one account prior to June 23rd using the link below.

Not changing your email address will create a duplicate account in Blink’s database.
