Blink Drive App & Card
Here are the top Blink Drive App questions asked by EV (fleet) drivers like you.
Where can I charge, and can I use any charging station?
You can charge at any station displayed in the Blink Drive App. These stations are part of our trusted roaming partner network.
Charging is not supported at stations that do not appear in the app. If you come across a station that’s incorrectly listed, unavailable, or not accessible, tap the (⋯) icon on the station page and select "Report an Issue" to notify our team.
Use the map and search bar in the app to find nearby or destination-based charging stations, with filters for speed, plug type, and operator.
How do I know what I’ll pay at a charging station?
After selecting a charging station in the app, you’ll see the price per connector, including any time-based or session-based fees.
Tap “Price Details” for a full breakdown of pricing. You will always be charged the rate displayed in the app at the time you start your session.
How do I pay for my charging sessions?
During registration, you’ll be asked to add a payment method, such as a credit card. This is required to complete the setup of your account.
For subscription users, no charges are made at the time of registration. Charging sessions are billed monthly, with the total amount automatically deducted from the selected payment method at the end of each billing cycle. The cost of your subscription is billed one month after the date of confirming your subscription.
Why do I need to enter my payment details?
A valid payment method is required to start charging and request your RFID card. For subscription users, it also enables monthly billing.
Can I view my charging history and session costs?
Yes. You can access your full session history in the app, including start time, duration, location, and estimated cost. Please note: if a session appears as “in progress” or is missing, it may be due to delays in data reporting from the charging station operator. Final prices may also differ slightly from the initial estimates shown during charging.
How do I request a Blink Drive charge card and when will I receive it?
You can request a Blink Drive Card (RFID token) via the Blink Drive App, or through your employer or fleet provider if applicable. Once the request is processed, your Blink Drive Card will be mailed to you. Delivery typically takes up to 5 working days.
Before using the card, make sure to activate it in the app. Charging is not possible until the card has been activated.
How do I activate my charging card?
Blink Drive Cards must be activated before they can be used.
You can activate your card in the Charging Cards section of the Blink Drive App. Click on the Add charging card button, then type the alpha-numeric code found on the back of your physical Blink Drive card into the Activate charging card screen. Activation only takes a moment, and charging with your physical charge card won’t be possible until it’s completed.
What should I do if my charging card is lost or stolen?
Immediately block your card through the Blink Drive app or portal. This can be done in the Charging Cards screen. You can request a new card through the same interface.
In the meantime, you may still be able to charge using the app if the station supports remote start. If you are unable to access the app or portal, contact support to assist you in blocking your card.
Can I use my new Blink Drive card on my Home Charger?
Yes, once you activate your Blink Drive card in the app, it will automatically be linked to your Home Charging account. This ensures you can continue using your home charger with the new card. However, please allow up to five working days from activation for this to take effect.
How does pricing work in Blink Drive?
Blink Drive offers transparent pricing, so you’ll always see the cost before starting a charging session. After selecting a station in the app, you'll see the price per connector - including any energy, time, or session-based fees set by the charge point operator.
For Blink public chargers, pricing is fixed by your subscription tier and consistent across all Blink AC and DC chargers. The same applies to other operators' stations - prices are fixed by tier and visible in the app before you plug in.
All prices include VAT.
What subscription options are available and how do they work?
Blink Drive offers three flexible plans: Starter, Fan, and Addict, designed to suit your charging needs. Each tier provides fixed pricing on Blink and partner charging stations, with better rates at higher tiers.
Paid plans come with a 7-day grace period to try before committing. After that, you can switch plans anytime, effective on your next billing date.

*Rotation Fee: If your vehicle remains plugged in at a Blink charger after it’s fully charged, a small per-minute fee will apply, only during the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 - to help keep chargers available for other drivers. This fee only applies after charging has completed but the session has not ended:
**Session Fee: A fixed charge applied at the start of a charging session, regardless of how much energy is used or how long the charging lasts. The session fee is also referred to as a Start Fee.
Do I need to select a subscription when I sign up?
Yes. While Blink Drive continues to offer the same subscription options as before, subscriptions do not automatically transfer from older platforms (e.g. previous Blink or BlueCorner passes).
When creating your Blink Drive account, you’ll be prompted to select your preferred plan during sign-up. You can change your subscription later in the app if needed.
Fleet users should follow their organisation’s onboarding instructions — in some cases, the fleet manager may choose the appropriate plan on their behalf.
How will I receive my invoice, and can I view past invoices?
You’ll receive a detailed invoice by email each billing cycle. This includes a breakdown of sessions, and any applicable fees. Any subscription fees will be invoiced separately at the end of your monthly billing cycle. You can also view and download past invoices from the Blink Drive App under the Invoices section.
If you're part of a company fleet, any sessions you complete that are billed to the fleet account will be invoiced directly to your fleet manager.
I use a charge card issued by my company, how should I create my account?
If you are part of a company fleet, you must be invited to set up your Blink Drive account. This ensures that charging costs are billed to your company. Your fleet manager will normally do this.
If you download the app and register using your personal email and payment method, your sessions will be billed to you personally. Always follow your organization's onboarding process to avoid personal charges and ensure proper billing to your employer.
What is the Blink Drive Portal?
The Blink Drive Portal is an online portal that helps you manage your charging experience, especially if you’re part of a company fleet or manage multiple drivers.
Depending on your role, you can use the portal to:
Track charging sessions and download invoices
Order and assign Blink Drive charge cards (RFID tokens)
Manage which charging networks your drivers can access
Add or remove drivers and update their details
Set pricing and billing preferences
Monitor usage and view performance insights
The portal is primarily used by fleet managers and administrators, but some EV drivers may also have access to manage their own account details.
