Blink has adopted practices designed to safeguard the personal data provided by users against any unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or misuse. Below, we inform you about the data we collect and process and how we use it, with the ultimate aim of improving the provision of our Services.
By accepting this Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy (the “Policy”), you agree to the collection, processing, and use of your personal data by us in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the terms set out below.

3. Personal Data We Collect and Process
Blink collects or receives personal data in various ways depending on how you use and interact with our Services. In most cases, you may choose what information to provide to us, except for information that is strictly necessary for the provision of our Services, which will be clearly marked as mandatory fields.
The personal data that we collect, process, store, and may share for the improvement of our Services includes:
Your basic identification data (full name, date of birth, etc.)
Contact details necessary for our Services (such as residential address, email address, telephone number, etc.)
Information relating to transactions required for the provision of the Services (such as credit card details, account details, etc.)

At the same time, and depending on your interaction with our Services, where you have agreed and chosen to do so, we may process your personal data for the following purposes:
Offers through Blink
You may be given the opportunity to participate in various promotional or marketing programs through the Channels. In such cases, you may be asked to provide personal data if you choose to receive information or participate in such programs. On the same basis, and following processing of your usage data (such as frequency of use of the Services, etc.), we may send you personalized offers for your benefit.
In any event, for every promotional activity in which you participate, the relevant terms and details regarding the processing of your personal data will be made available to you. You may withdraw your consent at any time through the Channels and in accordance with the instructions provided therein.
Purchases through the Channels
If you purchase products or services through Blink or its partners via the Channels, you may be asked to re-enter your personal data. If, through our Channels, you visit the website of another third-party company, that company’s own Privacy Policy will apply.
Participation in surveys
If you participate in surveys or studies through Blink’s Channels, we may collect and process information about you through your participation and may process your usage data for analysis and statistical purposes in order to improve our Services. Participation in certain surveys may be subject to a separate participation agreement, which will set out more specific terms regarding the collection and processing of your data.
Login and geolocation data
The Channels may use services requiring the determination of your geographic location in order to help you locate a charging station near you. Therefore, when using the Services, Blink may collect and process additional information from you (such as your precise location, login time, etc.). In the context of providing its Services, Blink may share such data with a third party, for example to create a map in order to direct you to the nearest charging station within our network.
Charging station usage
Blink may collect and process your personal data during your use of a charging station, such as which station you used, for how long, the amount of energy received, and any other information related to the use of that charging station. We may associate this information with the account you maintain with us and use it for billing purposes in connection with the provision of the Services.
In all the above cases, you may withdraw your consent at any time through the Channels and in accordance with the instructions provided therein.
Cookies
In order to enhance the attractiveness of the Channels and promote broader use of our Services, we use cookies across various Channels. Cookies are small text files stored on your device and either remain on the device so that we can automatically recognize the user on a subsequent visit (persistent cookies) or are automatically deleted when browsing ends (session cookies).
Blink uses cookies, and any data derived from them, to improve its Services. By way of example:
Functionality cookies store certain user information (including information already submitted) and support a more personalized browsing experience.
Performance cookies do not identify the user and are used exclusively to improve website performance.
Marketing cookies are used for targeted advertising relevant to the user and tailored to the user’s interests, and may be shared with third parties.

The third-party cookie services we use relate to the use of the Channels, and any advertisements concern services related to those we provide.
4. Third Parties with Access to Personal Data
Blink will not transfer your personal data to unauthorized third parties, except to those persons or entities that support the Services we provide, including, without limitation, transaction processing, responding to requests for information, updating marketing lists, and data analysis.
In all cases, we assess each independent company, which must comply with personal data protection obligations and demonstrate an appropriate level of security.
We may, however, share your personal data with third parties in the event of the sale of our Company, an affiliated entity, or our assets, since the personal data in our possession may be considered transferable assets.
We will also disclose your personal data where required by law or where we believe such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with any judicial or other order, court decision, or order of a competent authority.
5. Your Rights
In addition to your right to receive, free of charge, information regarding the data Blink has stored and processes about you (Right of Access), you also have the following rights:
A. Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal – Right to Object.
B. Right to rectification of your personal data.
C. Right to be forgotten, namely the right to erasure of all your personal data.
D. Right to restriction of processing and right to object to processing.
E. Right to data portability, namely the transfer of your data, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, to another controller, where technically feasible.
F. Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates applicable law.

6. Minimum Age
Blink considers the protection of children’s personal data to be of utmost importance. For this reason, we do not accept registrations from, nor do we knowingly collect or process personal data of, individuals under the age of sixteen (16) without the necessary parental consent.
Blink undertakes to make reasonable efforts to verify that such consent is given by the person holding parental responsibility for the child.
By accessing and registering through the Channels, you confirm that you are at least sixteen (16) years old.
7. Data Deletion – Retention Period
Blink will delete your personal data once the purpose for which we collected it has been fulfilled. In addition, upon your request, or if your account remains inactive for a period exceeding five (5) years, your personal data will be deleted. Before this occurs, you will receive separate notice at the email address associated with your account.
However, Blink will retain your personal data for a period of five (5) years after the end of our contractual relationship due to specific legal requirements (such as for tax purposes) or other legal obligations. Under these circumstances, your data will not be used for any other purpose.
8. Amendments to this Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time in order to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations and with the business purposes and activities of our Company.
In any event, if we make such changes, we will notify you through the Channels or directly at the email address associated with your account.
