Southwestern Public Service Co. (SPS), part of Xcel Energy, has launched the EV Commercial Program to help New Mexico businesses and property owners bring the benefits of electric vehicle charging to their sites—at a reduced cost. With funding available on a first-come, first-served basis, this program offers generous rebates or Xcel-provided EV infrastructure for eligible commercial buildings in communities including Artesia, Carlsbad, Clovis, Hobbs, Roswell, and more.
The program opens August 12, 2025, with applications for rebates accepted beginning September 8, 2025 and closing for Phase 1 on November 21, 2025.
