Posted 05/11/2018

New Blink Charging Stations Installed in High-Traffic Locations Throughout the City of Miami Beach

Miami Beach, Florida, May 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Leading owner, operator and provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging services,  Blink Charging Co. (NASDAQ: BLNK, BLNKW) (“Blink Charging” or the “Company”), is the City of Miami Beach’s exclusive EV charging service provider and is expanding its footprint in the area with a wave of new EV charging station installations.

Blink Charging Stations are now active and available to the public at four of the The City of Miami Beach’s parking garages, all of which are available 24 hours a day. Additionally, Blink is working with the City of Miami Beach to expand into the City’s remaining 5 garages within the next month.

EV drivers coming to the Miami area have access to Blink’s cloud-based network that operates, manages, and tracks the Blink EV charging stations and are capable of adding 20-25 miles of driving range in only 40-60 minutes of charging time. The deployed stations are available to anyone, however drivers can join the Blink Network for free, and have access to lower charging costs and other membership benefits.

“As a Florida-based company, expanding our network in Miami Beach is extremely important to us,” said Michael D. Farkas, Founder and Executive Chairman of Blink Charging Co. “We are proud to be the exclusive company providing The City of Miami Beach charging services for these locations, as well as other new locations. Miami Beach is a very high-traffic destination for EV drivers, and securing a presence in all of the city’s garages will make sure everyone has a place to charge, whether here for business or pleasure.”

Miami Beach rests in Blink’s home territory and so is a priority for network expansion to ensure that Florida drivers have easy and available access to charging stations wherever they go.
