Blink DCFCs: Maximum Flexibility for All Types of Deployments

Posted 02/09/2026

Like with most other products, there is no “one size fits all” Direct Current Fast Charger (DCFC). Different businesses have different requirements from their DC fast chargers, so Blink prides itself on being able to offer three different types of fast chargers in multiple configurations and power levels.

Blink 60kW-360kW DCFC

The Blink 60kW-360kW DCFCs are our “entry-level” DCFC offerings. If all you require are reliable fast chargers that deliver essential functionality, intuitive user interaction, and simple installation while remaining cost-conscious, this one is for you.

It comes in seven different power configurations:

  1. 60kW

  2. 120kW

  3. 180kW

  4. 200kW

  5. 240kW

  6. 300kW

  7. 360kW

Regardless of the maximum power output you choose, all of them come with the following features:

  • Charges two vehicles simultaneously

  • CCS1 and NACS connector availability

  • Simple, easy-to-use touchscreen interface

  • Durable design with straightforward maintenance

  • Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or 4G connectivity options

The Blink 60kW-360kW DCFCs are ideal for the following deployments:

  • Retail

  • Workplace

  • Municipal sites

  • Hospitality destinations

  • Commercial or multi-family properties

If you want to get started with a reliable fast charger that is simple to install, maintain, and use, the Blink 60kW-360kW is a perfect entry-level option.

Blink Series 9 (Model 9100) 40kW DCFC

The Blink Series 9 DCFC is a perfect little fast charger for deployments with extremely limited space. Because it is able to be wall-mounted, it is ideal for parking garages and other places where a standalone fast charger might take up too much space. (Although, the Series 9 can also be mounted on a pedestal to make it standalone, as well.)

As the name implies, it can provide up to 40kW of power and it comes with a single CCS1 charging port. The 7-inch LCD screen is easy to read and it can be connected via built-in ethernet, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE. The integrated credit card reader makes for quick and easy charging.

Being the 9100 model, that means the Series 9 is plug & charge (ISO 15118) hardware-ready. With accompanying hardware, you can make it so that drivers don’t have to even use a payment card. With plug & charge, all billing and authentication are handled automatically.

For places with limited space, the Series 9 is an ideal fast charger.

Blink All-In-One Station Charger

As the name implies, the Blink All-In-One Station Charger is fully self-contained. All components of the charger are in one compact cabinet.

The All-In-One Station Charger comes in a C501 Model, which is a single-cabinet design, or the C502 Model, which is a double-cabinet design. These two models can both accommodate either one or two charging ports. Each charging port can provide up to 240kW of charging power.

Regardless of whether you choose a single- or double-cabinet design, the All-In-One Station Charger comes with the following features:

  • Single or dual ports, which can accommodate CCS1 and/or NACS connectors

  • Smart connectivity via Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and 4G

  • Integrated touchscreen display for smooth user interaction

  • Sturdy construction meant for high utilization rates

The Blink All-In-One Station Charger is ideal for the following deployments:

  • Fleets

  • Retail outlets

  • Municipal sites

  • Auto dealerships

  • Convenience stores

If you need a compact, yet powerful DCFC, the All-In-One Station Charger is a perfect fit.

Blink DC Distributed System

The two words to keep in mind when discussing the Blink DC Distributed System are “modular” and “scalable.” That’s because the DC Distributed System was designed specifically to be able to grow with a business’ electric vehicle charging needs and to fit into virtually any physical footprint.

The Blink DC Distributed System has two main components to it. These are:

  1. Power Unit

  2. Dispensers

The power unit receives power from the electrical grid and then distributes that power to the dispensers.

The dispensers then distribute the power to the EVs via the charging ports. Both the power unit and the dispensers are modular and both can be used to grow the DC Distributed System.

Power Unit

The centralized Power Unit is made up of two components:

  1. Power Modules

  2. Cabinets

Power Modules

The power modules come in 50kW increments. Each cabinet can hold up to four power modules. A cabinet with four power modules will have 200kW of power.

Cabinets

The Distributed System’s cabinets come in either single-cabinet, double-cabinet, or triple-cabinet models.

  • Single-cabinet - maximum 200kW of power. (Four 50kW power modules)

  • Double-cabinet - maximum 400kW of power. (Eight 50kW power modules)

  • Triple-cabinet - maximum 600kW of power. (Twelve 50kW power modules)

Each Power Unit:

  • Can have power added to it thanks to its modular design

  • Automatically distributes available power based on vehicle needs and cable type for optimal efficiency thanks to dynamic power management

  • Supports Wi-Fi, cellular and Ethernet

Dispenser

Each dispenser comes in either single- or dual-port design with both CCS1 and/or NACS connectors available. The number of dispensers a distributed system can support depends on the size of your power unit. The maximum number of dispensers a triple-cabinet power unit with 12 power modules (600kW) can support is eight single-port dispensers or four dual-port dispensers (for a total of eight charging ports).

Thanks to smart dynamic charging, the Distributed System is able to provide the EVs plugged into it with either the maximum amount of power they are able to accept or an evenly divided amount of power in the case of multiple simultaneously charging vehicles if it is not able to provide the maximum power to each vehicle.

All Blink DC Distributed System dispensers:

  • Have an advanced cable management system

  • Come with an easy-to-use 7” touch screen display

  • Have an available optional integrated credit card reader

Flexibility

What really makes the Blink DC Distributed System live up to its name is the fact that dispensers can be installed up to 262 ft. (80 m) away from the power unit. This allows for maximum installation flexibility. You can put your power unit in one corner of your parking lot and connect a dispenser that sits on the opposite side of the parking lot, if you require that. The DC Distributed System provides the most flexible installation options and the highest operational efficiency across Blink’s lineup of DCFCs.

It is ideal for:

  • Fleet depots

  • Charging hubs

  • Transit depots

  • Highway corridors

  • High-volume retail outlets

For sites that require maximum uptime, installation flexibility, and multi-vehicle charging, the Blink DC Distributed System is the one to choose.

Blink Network

Regardless of which fast charger you choose, it will be connected to the Blink Network, which allows you full access to set up your chargers as you see fit. Via the Blink Network, you can set pricing, set hours of operation, set different pricing for certain hours, create groups, collect charging fees based on time spent plugged in or on power used, and so much more.

Your chargers will also show up on the Blink Mobile App and in other common EV charging locator services.

For fleets, the Blink Network has an additional portal, Blink Fleet Management, which gives you even more control over your chargers.

Business Models

To help hosts with installation and purchasing costs, Blink has multiple business models. High-traffic locations may have the option to use the Blink-Owned business model, where we pay for the purchase and installation of equipment and share charging revenues with hosts.

Contact a Blink representative to see if your location qualifies for a Blink-Owned business model.

Wrap up

DC fast charging need not be difficult. Blink has multiple fast charging options to accommodate all situations, from those just starting with fast charging, to those who require the most powerful and flexible of systems.

The Blink 60kW-360kW DCFC is a good entry level option for those who just need a reliable and affordable DC fast charger that requires minimal effort.

For those who need a more powerful charger in a compact unit that can be expanded if necessary, the Blink All-in-One Station DC Fast Charger is capable of charging vehicles quickly with a minimal physical footprint.

And, lastly, for complex physical footprints that require powerful chargers that can be expanded multiple times, the Blink DC Distributed System lives up to its name and its reputation as our most versatile and premium fast charging option.
